THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – July 4, 2026 – Arena Energy, LLC (“Arena”), a leading independent oil and gas exploration company focused on the Gulf of America Shelf, was represented by Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Mike Minarovic and Co-Founder Todd Stone at the grand opening and dedication of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library in Medora, North Dakota, on July 1, 2026. They joined President Trump, Secretary of Interior Doug Burgum, and other dignitaries and supporters from across the country to honor the life and legacy of the nation’s 26th president.
Arena Energy—through its philanthropic arm the Arena Foundation—is a supporter of the Library, and its support is recognized in the Arena Energy name on the Library’s Cowboy Campfire Gallery. The gallery seats visitors around a simulated nighttime campfire, in rocking chairs on the Elkhorn Ranch porch or on logs ringing the flames, where animated cowboys trade stories of Badlands life — barroom confrontations, a deadly cattle stampede, the chase of riverboat thieves — and of the grit that helped a grieving young New Yorker get back on his feet. Roosevelt himself drew the line from those campfires to the White House: “I never would have been President if it had not been for my experiences in North Dakota.”
The Library opened to the public on July 4, the 250th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence.
Arena’s connection to Theodore Roosevelt runs deep — from the name on the door, to the Roosevelt imagery throughout its offices in The Woodlands, to the credo that guides its culture, his spirit of resilience, adventure, and environmental stewardship has shaped the company’s identity.
