Nigel Hicks


Nigel Hicks joined Arena Energy in 2013. He is responsible for generating and evaluating exploration and development opportunities throughout the Gulf of Mexico Shelf. Previously, he was a geophysicist for W&T Offshore from 2011 to 2012. Mr. Hicks worked on exploration and development projects for Chesapeake Energy from 2008 to 2012, and for BP from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, he worked for Kerr-McGee from 2001 to 2005 on exploration, development and geophysical technology projects. Mr. Hicks received a B.S. in geology from Bridgewater State College (Massachusetts) in 1999 and a M.Sc. in geophysics from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2001.
